Hello, on the Hz311 zone controller. green means there is power to that damper circuit and red means no power to that circuit. One of the thermostats on most systems is a 'master' thermostat, and if you set it for example at 50F heating, it will not let any of the other thermostats to go into heating mode if the house is above 50F.
