I spent about 5 hours with my buddy Dodge Rice (DodgeTheMachinist) learning how to place the inset SDS100, or whatever inlaid text on the sides. People tend to shy away. In similar gatherings, the BCD325P2 is deemed not as offensive. But Uniden, by choosing the form factor of the radio’s outer case, constrained themselves to certain restrictive issues, one of which was the limited size of the speaker. Look at the specs for the bottom one, that comes with a cable. It's 5 volts at 3.4 amps. Of the other two, the top one is 4.8 amps, and the second one is 4.8 amps, or if using both ports, 2.4 amps per port. I have had lots of scanners in my time. The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. Apr 6, 2021 · The connector on the scanner itself is SMA female. On the SDS100, the antenna connector is recessed somewhat into the case, so a standard BNC Female -> SMA Male does not fit correctly. (It's recessed to maintain water-resistance.) Use either the adapter that came with the scanner, order a replacement (or extra) from one of the dealers, or order ...
